Headspace is surface ground and squared to a .0425 rim depth, the same as a bolt action rifle too tweek in alittle accuracy... A hole is "E.D.M.'ed", a hardened ground solid dowel pin is pressed in over the top of the front of the firing pin... This new dowel pin keeps the front of firing pin from raising up and causing flyers and gives more consistant firing pin strikes... Rear / bottom of bolt body is radiused for smoother bolt function... The seen outside of bolt is beautifully prism jeweled as a finishing touch... Send in complete bolt assembly with $49 plus $6 s&h.. Check or M.O. ($55 cash is good so there is no wait for check to clear)... U.S. Mail or UPS, no Fed-X... Turnaround... After it arrives - max it can be here is 2 weeks... If there is 2 or more bolts in package, its $49 each plus one $6 s&h... Do not multiply s&h. (note small radius if bolt is to be used with .17 Mach2 ammo). New complete Ruger 10/22 L.R. Notes; CPC does not exchange bolts or parts, customer gets their own bolt and parts back... CPC does not work on Volquartsen bolts nor any non-Ruger bolts... CPC does work on Kidd bolts. CPC does work using customer provided aftermarket extractor and/or firing pin... VQ extractors are sold here, fitted and installed add $11 to order... You can order new bolt or the bolt rework noting - "Full radius",- which is used for normal shooting of standard and high velocity ammo, - or "Small Radius" on bolts mostly shooting .22 Hyper velocity ammo or the new .17 HM2... SPECIAL 10/22 ACTION TUNEUP Bolt rework as described above plus full trigger rework... Trigger rework removes all slack and creep for a crisp 2.25 lb plus/minus .25 lb trigger pull.... Overtravel stop, - auto-bolt release modification, - small extended magazine release are done... Receivers front is re-c'bored where barrel attaches and inside receiver is stoned... A rear cleaning hole is drilled and a nylon bolt buffer is added... Send complete receiver with bolt and trigger group, no barrel, with $150 which includes return postage... Added magazine release extension, overtravel stop, anti-creep stop, auto-bolt release and crisp 2.25 lb trigger pull all standard on CPC 10/22 trigger job...

Three crown options are available for Ruger hammer forged barrels, this is a backbored crown, the sporter taper version (shown below) is also available plus a recessed target 11 degree crown, at any finished length customer wants...
Optional but free cleaning hole in rear...
Tough nylon bolt stop pin is also free with CPC 10/22 Tuneups.
Inside receiver is stoned flat, to remove burrs, but is not polished.
CPC FreeBore chamber + chamber and entry polish. Extractor cut put in at correct 10 degree angle and depth.
Barrel is setback to a CPC FreeBore semi-auto match chamber designed for Ruger 10/22's, lapped, recrowned by 1 of 3 different crown options and re-installed with a tighter lockup...

Ruger T barrel sporter tapered crown... This one was threaded into the Ruger receiver eliminating the V-block part making a stable rifle... Barrel is finished at 19 inches...
Ruger T or RRR barrels only... Tapered from end of stock forward by 8.5" to a .62" dia recessed 11 degree target crown... Removes .5 lb of front weight and produces the best accuracy from the hammer forged barrel... See crown options page on main website...
