ON THIS BLESSED DAY
On This Blessed Day
On this most blessed day,
is another chance for me to pray,
save me Lord,
please don't let me fall astray.
For by Your Grace I can see,
most fallen am I,
allured to past addictions,
for such a very long time.
So, on this most blessed day,
my most beloved Gurudeva,
I beg for your mercy to become,
the slave of your slave.
For a slave is what I am,
there is no way to hide,
but a happy slave I may be,
if I turn to your side.
So, on this most blessed day,
my only hope Prabhupada,
I am begging at your feet,
please guide me back to Krishna, God.
For you're the friend of the fallen,
and that's why I see,
coming from your eyes,
an ocean of mercy.
So, on this blessed day,
Oh greatest servant of Krishna,
I beg for your mercy
to assist in your mission,
To deliver the pious,
to annihilate the demons,
for reestablishing religion,
by representing Krishna,
the Supreme One.
For I am certainly doomed,
without your causeless grace,
there is not a single soul,
who can escape maya's maze.
So, on this blessed day,
your Anubhavananda
prays for your mercy,
for blessed by Lord Nityananda.
Please keep me in Shri Gaura's movement,
for although I'm like a dog,
I know that you can keep me here,
because you're Prabhupada.
