CREATE an IMAGE-STORAGE PAGE:
After you have uploaded the image to your scrapbook, you will then need to put it onto a published storage-page in order to obtain its URL to link it someplace else, such as into your sig-box or webpage.
If you don't already have an image-storage page to link from, then follow these steps to create one:
- Go to Pagebuilder; and
- Click on "Create"
- Select the "Grey" background (on page 2)
- Title your page "gif" (keep it simple)
- Click on "Add an item"
- Click on "Picture"
- Click on "Your Scrapbook"
- Click on your image
- Click on "Done"
- Click on "Publish"
- Do NOT EVER check the "Show title on page" box
Get the URL of your image:
- Paste your image-storage page's address (URL) into the window below (if you came here directly from your new page its url will already be in the window)
- Next, press the "View Images" button
- Then, click the last button
...and, you'll then see the URL of your image.
To use your extracted image:
- Put your newly extracted URL into the code - (but, you must delete the "-1" or "-2" number after "community" in the image's URL):
<img src="URL">
- Paste the code into your sig-box or webpage
This is an example of what an extracted URL will look like:
http://community-2.webtv.net/kdine4/gif/scrapbookFiles/importD36.gif
But, don't forget to delete the "-2" (or, "-1") thingy from its URL:
http://community.webtv.net/kdine4/gif/scrapbookFiles/importD36.gif
Then, put the URL in this code:
<img src="http://community.webtv.net/kdine4/gif/scrapbookFiles/importD36.gif">
THIS IS WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE:
